Terms of Use
Last updated · 14 May 2026
These terms govern your use of stratosort.com and any pre-release builds we share through the beta program. A separate license agreement applies when you purchase the Professional License.
1. About us
The site and the StratoSort product are operated by Kennedy Applied Sciences, Inc. References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Kennedy Applied Sciences, Inc.
2. Acceptable use of the website
You agree to use stratosort.com lawfully and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to access non-public areas, or scrape it in a way that imposes an unreasonable load. The site is provided for your information and is not a binding offer of sale.
3. The beta program
If we admit you to the beta program, the build we share with you is pre-release software provided "as is" and without warranty. You agree to:
- use the build only for evaluation in environments you control;
- not redistribute, sublicense, decompile, or publish benchmark results without our prior written consent;
- report defects you discover, on a reasonable-efforts basis, so we can fix them.
We can withdraw or modify the beta build at any time. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the product without further obligation.
4. The Professional License
The $99/year Professional License is governed by a separate end-user license agreement that we provide at the time of purchase. Pricing, features, and feature availability described on this site are subject to change before purchase.
5. Intellectual property
"StratoSort", the StratoSort logo, and all original content on this site are owned by Kennedy Applied Sciences, Inc. or its licensors. You may quote short excerpts with attribution; broader use requires written permission.
The desktop application bundles open-source components under their own licenses. A complete list is shipped inside the application.
6. Third-party links
Where the site links to third-party resources (for example, citations to research and reports), those links are provided for convenience. We do not endorse or take responsibility for the content of third-party sites.
7. Compliance claims
Statements on this site about regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, FERPA, CJIS, ITAR, GDPR, SOC 2, etc.) describe properties that local-first architecture can support. Compliance outcomes depend on your deployment, configuration, policies, and legal obligations. Nothing on this site is legal advice. You are responsible for validating any compliance claims against your environment before relying on the product for regulated workflows.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and any beta build are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kennedy Applied Sciences, Inc. and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising from your use of this site or any beta build.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
